Inside Slides – I haven’t really stacked up the slides side by side but I’m pretty sure that Epic Waters has far more *inside* water slide options than Great Wolf including their loop slide where the floor drops beneath your feet… scary but cool. Our kids loved trying surfing, it was unique and other than waiting 10 minutes between use it’s unlimited with the visitĢ.

That said, below is a short pros/cons list that may help if you think you will only visit one of these venuesġ.ğlowRider – if you have a kid over 48” tall then this attraction may make the decision for you. We visited Great Wolf Lodge over a summer holiday weekend so many things are hard to compare well – crowds over a holiday weekend at Epic Waters, how Great Wolf Lodge stacks up when outside pool area is closed, etc. One question that was on my mind before the visit is how would Epic Waters stack up vs Great Wolf Lodge.
EPIC WATER PARK PRICES HOW TO
I will say that our experience would have been terrible if the crowds had been as crazy as some other reviewers reported – and I don’t know how to predict the crowds at the venue. Water Park Action: I think there was a good variety of water park options, some better and some worse than Great Wolf Lodge (more below on this)įrom other reviews, I was nervous that our visit would be terrible. Not uncomfortable but also not super comfortable, and the first ding in my list here.ĩ. All other seats are fixed upright plastic seats. Seating: There were open seats and tables throughout our visit.Ĩ.Ĝomfort: I believe the only reclining seats in the venue are in the premium paid cabanas which also come with a TV. It was 40 to 57 degrees F outside during our stay and inside was comfortable except for Arcade which was chilly in a wet bathing suit.ħ. My kids tried the FlowRider for the 1st time ever and the staff were patient and helpful.Ħ.Ĝlimate: Didn’t think there was any risk of sun burn inside.

Staff: Staff were nice, attentive, and appeared to care about the kids. Not a bargain but not higher than other venues.ĥ. Locker costs: Lockers were $6, $12, $14 I believe for the 3 sizes. Healthy options with salad and fruit cup offered.Ĥ. Food was reasonably priced - $4 pizza, $7 burger. All clean with one exception noted in detailed review below.ģ.ğood: Nearly zero lines for food all day long. We have no affiliation with the place.ġ.Ĝrowds: It was not over crowded – we were there from 10:20a to 4:00p.Ģ.Ĝleanliness: It was clean. Here are the cliff notes regarding our visit with our kids. I went to Epic Waters on Saturday 11/23, the weekend before Thanksgiving. There is a lot of things that are bad about this place. If you but tickets online you still have to wait in two lines, three if you didn't buy the tickets online. It took about 30 to 35 minutes to get out of the lines before you can actually have ''fun".Not just the lines are crowded, the whole place is crowded too.Which leads to there being no space at all in any swim areas. There is very long lines to the big slides, and even the little slides in the kids area. The swimming areas are not sanitary.I saw a little kid pee right in front of my own eyes.I do not like the fact that the little kid did that.No kids or adults in the play area follow rules.Everybody is shoving and telling people to hurry up.Some kids even stand in the end of the slide where they could hit you.If you are thinking about getting food fast there, that will not happen. You can barely walk around because there is to many people. The only thing I suggest you do there is going to the arcade. That is the only thing I liked there despite the great hotdogs. Please come before you buy season passes, and don't waste your money. This is my opinion for this water park,it will probably be the same for yours too.
